It is an honor and great pleasure to welcome you all to this esteemed institution for the academic year 2021-2022.  Arts and Commerce College, Lanja was established on 17th June 1996, and Science Faculty was started later in June 2009 by the New Education Society, Lanja run by a private management educational body.  The college is situated in the dense forest of the Western Ghats of India. New Education Society is one of the premier education societies in Maharashtra state.  Arts, Commerce and Science  College, Lanja has been promoting the cause of value-based higher education with total commitment for the last 25 years.  The college started in 1996 with 117 students and 6 departments and expanded to about 1000 students and 11 departments in 2021-2022.  The college bagged the best college award in 2013-14 by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, and the college has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade in the third cycle of accreditation.  Currently, we are preparing for our fourth NAAC accreditation which will be held in the month of August 2023.
