The Centre has confirmed that the 21st tranche under the PM-KISAN scheme will be disbursed on November 19, 2024; therefore this is good news for the millions of small and marginal farmers’ families before the Rabi season. What farmers would get
Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), eligible farmer families are entitled to above ₹6,000 per year to be paid in three installments of ₹2,000 each. The amount of ₹2,000 will be transferred to the beneficiary accounts as DBT by the government on the date of announcement.

- Beneficiary Status: Here you should enter the Aadhaar number or mobile number or bank account number to see the payment status: initiated, pending, or credited.
- Beneficiary List: here it is possible to select state > district > block > village and see the names that are listed for your locality.
In case your name is not included, you may visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or agriculture office to update land records, for eKYC completion, or for other discrepancies.
Ensure a smooth payment process: Three essentials
- Complete eKYC: eKYC is required for all installment payments. It can be done online through OTP or at a CSC with biometric verification.
- Linking Aadhaar-bank: Confirm that Aadhaar has been linked correctly to the same bank account that receives DBT so that rejections do not occur.
- Verification of details: Even a minor spelling mistake against name, incorrect account number, or wrong IFSC code can make the amount go uncredited — update these details if any of these are wrong on the PM-KISAN portal.
Eligibility criteria
PM-KISAN benefits families classified as farmers, having ownership of cultivable land as per state land records. Ineligible are institutional landholders, families under higher-income criteria, and income-tax paying individuals. New registrations are verified by the state before any payment is made.
