Commemorative Coins ₹100 and ₹150, Year 2025
In 2025, two new commemorative coins, ₹100 and ₹150, were issued by the Government of India. The coins have the purpose of commemorating great people, institutions, or historical feats that have played a significant role in the development and history of India. Coinage is intended only for collections and not for circulation.
What makes these coins special?

- Special Theme on the Reverse: The reverse designs of each coin have some artwork directly tied in with their theme for issuance.
- Limited Supply: Fewer coins available for buyers will increase the demand for these coins.

- ₹150 Coin – Approximately 40 grams
